Ever since the dawn of Time, in humanity's course through the Centuries, the enchanting Art of Music has always been a phenomenon intoxicating the hearts and souls of people around the world - (that is, before even God thought about inventing TV-Personas, Remote Controls and Guitar Hero 5 without giving us the Cheats).
In a small corner of the Earth, in a little town called Volos, our very own hearts and souls were by no means an exception. So, we simply decided one very ordinary day - one of those days that usually nothing happens, until it does - just like that - as with all major urban myths - to summon all these musicians, artists, music lovers, listeners and channel our artistic concerns through a gathering which from then on we chose to baptize
Our main focus is the instrument widely known as - Guitar - hence the name, GUITAR JAM - duhhh!!!

Our main aims were and still remain:
- to bring forth Guitar as an instrument in the service of the Art of Music, setting competitions and "races" aside
- to form a Passionate Community of Music Loving People, regardless genres and musical styles and get to know and communicate with each other through melodies
- to incite People towards this very understanding - that We, the Music Community of Volos, we do not compete with each other but we Celebrate.
And in that sense, our little town with its huge talent and through the institution of GUITAR JAM VOLOS will keep its musicians united into a Passionate Musical Community that chooses to express its emotions through melodies.
